The Kentucky Chapter of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners is
pleased to announce our next meeting. The meeting will be held from 3:30 PM to
5:00 PM on July 18, 2006. The meeting will be held in the conference room of
the BB&T Bank, 330 Whittington Pkwy (the corner of Hurstbourne Pkwy and
Whittington).
We are happy to announce our speaker at the upcoming ACFE Chapter meeting will
be Jefferson County Police Department Detective Martin (Marty) Rosenberger. Detective
Rosenberger graduated with a BA in Accounting from Bellarmine College and
joined the Jefferson County Police Dept. (JCPD) in 1994. He became a Detective
in JCPD's Fraud Unit in 2002. He is currently studying for the CFE exam.
Detective Rosenberger's presentation will be an overview of the Economic Crime
Unit and will generally include current trends within the Department. He may
be able to talk Generally about cases within the Jefferson County area.
This should be a very interesting and informative presentation.
As always, we will be accepting new membership applications. Please see
the Chapter website
http://www.acfeky.org/
for a downloadable application, if you have not already joined.
The meeting itself is free of charge and The Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners will award one hour of CPE credit for attendance.
Future meetings will be held the third Tuesday of every other month (
September, November, January, etc.).
The meeting is open to any person in Kentucky and Southern Indiana with an
interest in fighting fraud. Please forward this email to anyone you know who
may be interested.
